Digital platform: solution concept
An internal request portal concept covering the user journey, roles, architecture and limitations. An illustrative interface, not a client case study.
Solution concept · illustrative interface · not a client case study

The task
This concept considers a team bringing internal requests together from several channels. The aim is visible progress and clear ownership. The screen is an illustrative interface and does not demonstrate production use.
One possible architecture
A browser interface captures and displays requests. An API validates inputs and permissions. A datastore holds state and assignment, while an integration synchronizes only necessary fields with a business system of record.
- Employee → form → API with role checks
- API → request data and status history
- Integration → system of record → understandable feedback
Important decisions
The state model, roles and information needs must be settled before implementation. Failures between systems need repeatable processing rather than silent data loss. One bounded journey is easier to verify than a portal intended to cover every task at once.
Evaluation and limitations
Acceptance tests would cover a valid request, missing fields, unauthorized access and integration failure. The image contains no demonstrated customer metrics. Authentication, storage and interfaces are an architecture proposal here, not delivered portal software.
